"Dreamsphere" conjures visions from the depths of elusive, eerie dreams. It enables your mind to step outside of reality, into haunted spheres. This introspective work is an enigmatic, dark ambient and industrial recording, with compositions reflecting a light-starved, timeless journey. The listener will experience emptiness. The dark corridors of your mind will release its fears and anxiety. The subconscious will unfold into the obscure unknown, experiencing ominous desolation, and the whispering echoes of distant nocturnal voices. The droning sound of ancient machines and ghostly clicks of clock gears, provide a prophetic lullaby to your personal dream sphere. "Dreamsphere" provides dark soundscapes, manipulated field recordings, and narrative speeches, combined with cold lush strings and raw pad layers, inviting the listener to their personal nightmare with DAHLIA'S TEAR!

And, we’re bringing you an all-new group deal for 2012 – “buy four tickets and get a fifth ticket for half price” (ie £225 for 5 tickets). We’ve introduced this new deal to make it easier for you guys and girls to group up together with friends, to take advantage of the discount, rather than our old “buy 10 get 1 free” offer. We know many of you enjoy the communal party atmosphere of the Student Halls for the Infest weekend and we will be announcing details for this cheap festival accommodation option soon!

Welcome to 2012 and welcome to the Infest 2012 site! We are looking forward to seeing you all again over the August Bank Holiday for another celebration of the incredibly diverse musical scene that is the alternative electronic genre. This year we have worked as hard as ever to bring you a mix of scene favourites and acts that you may not have heard of yet, or have not had the chance to see live before. The first bands will be announced soon and will be listed on the Artists page. There are so many great local bands out there at the moment we have squeezed in a couple of extra UK acts making the weekend even more value for money!

 

Tickets will be available exclusively from our event sponsors Music Non Stop for one month from 1st January before going on general release and as a special offer for our loyal Infest supporters the first 100 tickets bought from Music Non Stop will get a special money off coupon for use at the Music Non Stop store over the Infest weekend. Don’t miss out! Tickets will be £50 for the full weekend and all details of all our outlets will be found on the Tickets page.

As many of you will be aware, our beloved Infest Crew member, Paul Bramall, died suddenly last month. The words “shocked” and “saddened” do not even come close to how we feel.
 
Our friends over at Black Planet in Manchester are organising a special Festive Fundraiser in memory of Paul for his chosen charity, Help for Heroes, and we at Infest HQ would like to lend our support. It promises to be a wonderful night packed full of DJs bringing you the best sounds, plus there will be a raffle with prizes from an amazing array of bands (details below).
